We started the day with a Japanese breakfast- mince meat, egg and green beans on top of rice. I met Anne and Mikey in Gotanda where they were staying. Their friends Simon and Sharne were also in Japan so we all had brekky together.
Then Anne, Mikey and I went to Shinjuku for lunch. We went to yakitori alley, which is exactly what the name says it is- an alleyway full of different yakitori restaurants. Those not acquainted with yakitori- it's skewered meat which is slathered with sauce.
It was a 5 skewer surprise- five different skewers of delicious meat!
After, we checked out Isetan food hall. Mother of food! I love Isetan food hall- it is a magical haven of amazing food.
I had the biggest craving for dessert- ah, as usual- so wanted an extravagant cake. Oh god it was so delicious!
Then new night- that's an entry in itself!
